Updated Travel Requirements in El Nido

Following the Executive Order 22-001 of El Nido, please be advised on the updated travel requirements effective January 26, 2022.

Fully Vaccinated

Approved S-PASS Travel Permit via submission of:
1. Negative Result of Antigen Test taken 48 hours prior to arrival in El Nido.
2. DOT-Accredited Hotel Booking Confirmation
3. Roundtrip Tickets
4. VaxCert accomplished via https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/ or COVID-19 Vaccination card/certificate

Partially Vaccinated or Unvaccinated

Approved S-PASS Travel Permit via submission of:
1. Negative result of RT-PCR Swab from DOH accredited facility or Saliva test from Philippine Red Cross taken 48 hours prior to time of arrival
2. DOT-Accredited Hotel Booking Confirmation
3. Roundtrip Tickets

El Nido Residents

Fully Vaccinated

Approved S-PASS Travel Permit via submission of:
1. Negative Result of Antigen Test taken 48 hours prior to arrival in El Nido.
2. Valid ID with proof of residence.
3. VaxCert accomplished via https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/ or COVID-19 Vaccination card/certificate
4. EOC Coordination
5. Home Quarantine for 7 days.

Partially Vaccinated or Unvaccinated

Approved S-PASS Travel Permit via submission of:
1. Negative result of RT-PCR Swab from DOH accredited facility or Saliva test from Philippine Red Cross taken 48 hours prior to time of arrival in El Nido.
2. Valid Government Issued ID with proof of residence
3. EOC Coordination
4. Mandatory Home Quarantine for 7 days followed by an antigen test through the Municipal Health Office after 7 days.

APORs

Fully Vaccinated

Approved S-PASS Travel Permit via submission of:
1. Negative Result of Antigen Test taken 48 hours prior to arrival in El Nido.
2. Valid Government Issued ID.
3. VaxCert accomplished via https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/ or COVID-19 Vaccination card/certificate
4. Travel or Company Work Order
5. Quarantine:
a. Staying less than 7 days – No Quarantine but must present a detailed itinerary (Subject to EOC Approval)
b. Staying more than 7 days – Mandatory Home Quarantine for 7 days followed by an antigen test through the Municipal Health Office after 7 days.

Partially Vaccinated or Unvaccinated

Approved S-PASS Travel Permit via submission of:
1. Negative result of RT-PCR Swab from DOH accredited facility or Saliva test from Philippine Red Cross taken 48 hours prior to time of arrival in El Nido
2. Valid Government Issued ID.
3. Travel or Company Work Order
4. Quarantine:
a. Staying less than 7 days – No Quarantine but must present a detailed itinerary (Subject to EOC Approval)
b. Staying more than 7 days – Mandatory Home Quarantine for 7 days followed by an antigen test through the Municipal Health Office after 7 days.

Children 11 years and below traveling to the Municipality of El Nido are REQUIRED to upload Negative Antigen test results (upon S-PASS application) provided, traveling with parents and/or the guardians who are FULLY VACCINATED.

Meanwhile, Department Order 2022-001 issued by Department of Transportation is still in effect in accepting only Fully Vaccinated Passengers and Qualified Exempted Unvaccinated Passengers. Please refer to our previously released Advisory #52.
